Administrative Officer’s Message

Dear all,

I feel proud to be part of B.R. Memorial Central School for the last 25 years. This school is the result of the missionary zeal and effort of its founders Mr. Raghavan Pillai and Mrs. Bhavani Raghavan Pillai. All later developments were led by Mr. R. Asokan, eldest son of Mr. Raghavan Pillai. The school is registered under the Asoka Educational and Charitable Trust and successfully completed the affiliation process with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2007. Initially the school was named Udayagiri Public School. Its name was changed to Bhavani Raghavan Memorial School in respect of its founders and registered as B.R. Memorial Central School. Now we educate around 2000 students from Play Class to Class XII and BRM is a household name in the surrounding areas. The strong bond between all the stake holders is the hallmark of BR Memorial Central School.

A peaceful learning atmosphere in line with CBSE policies is ensured by a team of qualified and experienced teachers and other supporting staff members. BRM emphasizes the three language policy of the Government of India and runs various programmes under the banner of various Literary Associations to ensure the growth of linguistic skills. Modern education in a child friendly atmosphere at an affordable cost is possible with BRM. As in the case of any modern school, BRM also gives importance to all-round development of the learners through skill development sessions, various cultural programmes, co-scholastic activities, Health and physical education, Seva Programmes etc.

I feel endless joy each year as I watch parents from all walks of life enrolling their children in our school at the beginning of each academic year. It puts my heart at ease, knowing the confidence and belief the parents have in us to bring out the best in their children. We are happy to serve them as we are well organized and ever ready to act as per our shared vision: Educate Enlighten Empower.

Wishing all of you the best,

Mr. T. George
